Who we are — a group that grew from a handful of friends into one of Western Canada's most active LEGO® communities.
NALUG was formed in 1999 at a local Boston Pizza. Over the last two decades, the group has grown to over forty members and expanded into the local community by contributing to many different shows and displays through the years.
We host regular displays at events such as the Greater Edmonton Train Show, the Eek! Comic and Pop culture expo in St. Albert, and the Edmonton Comic-con.

NALUG was born over lunch on April 10, 1999, and two decades on we are still building, trading and sharing together.
Northern Alberta LEGO® Users GroupAt Our Meetings
NALUG hosts a bimonthly meeting where you'll find us engaged in a variety of activities.
Our interests span multiple themes: Castle, Trains, Technic, Mindstorms, Town, sculptures, Sci-Fi, Star Wars and more.
We love to trade and buy LEGO® sets and parts with each other. Sets obtained at deep discounts often make an appearance.
NALUG developed the Draft as a great method of distributing bulk LEGO® parts among members.
Swapping construction ideas and techniques, which can result in spontaneous building sprees!
Going out for pizza! Actually, this was how NALUG was born on April 10, 1999.
Pretty much anything related to LEGO®!
Meetings
We meet every two months, on Sunday, at Forest Heights Hall, 10150 80 St. The meeting begins at 7 pm.
We open the hall an hour before the start of the meeting so there is a chance to socialize beforehand — join us from 6 pm.
